Se analizan diferentes enfoques te\u00f3ricos y se presentan evidencias emp\u00edricas que respaldan la eficacia de diversas intervenciones psicol\u00f3gicas en la mejora del bienestar psicol\u00f3gico. Se discuten las implicaciones cl\u00ednicas y se sugieren nuevas \u00e1reas de investigaci\u00f3n en el campo del manejo del estr\u00e9s y la promoci\u00f3n de la salud mental en adultos j\u00f3venes.<\/p><p><\/p><p>**Article:**<\/p><p><\/p><p>Stress Management and Mental Health in Young Adults: The Role of Coping Strategies<\/p><p><\/p><p>In recent years, there has been a growing interest in understanding the impact of stress on mental health in young adults. This article aims to explore the relationship between stress management and mental health, with a specific focus on the role of coping strategies in preventing psychological disorders. Different theoretical approaches to stress and coping are discussed, highlighting the importance of adaptive coping mechanisms in promoting psychological well-being.<\/p><p><\/p><p>Research has consistently shown that individuals who use effective coping strategies are less likely to experience symptoms of anxiety, depression, and other mental health conditions. Cognitive-behavioral interventions, mindfulness-based techniques, and social support are among the most commonly used approaches to managing stress and promoting mental health in young adults. These interventions have been found to be effective in reducing stress levels, improving emotional regulation, and enhancing overall psychological functioning.<\/p><p><\/p><p>Furthermore, the development of personalized stress management plans tailored to the individual needs and preferences of young adults has shown promise in enhancing the effectiveness of interventions. By incorporating elements of cognitive restructuring, relaxation techniques, and problem-solving skills training, these personalized plans aim to equip young adults with the necessary tools to cope with stressors effectively and maintain optimal mental health.<\/p><p><\/p><p>In conclusion, the findings suggest that a multidimensional approach to stress management, including the integration of cognitive, behavioral, and interpersonal strategies, is essential for promoting mental health in young adults. Future research should focus on identifying the specific coping mechanisms that are most effective in different populations and contexts, as well as exploring the long-term effects of stress management interventions on psychological well-being.<\/p><p><\/p><p>**Conclusiones:**<\/p><p><\/p><p>En este estudio, se ha abordado la importancia del manejo del estr\u00e9s y las estrategias de afrontamiento en la salud mental de adultos j\u00f3venes.
